Locally owned by Scott and Traci O’Connor, ProActive Property Management combines the strength and resources of RE/MAX Properties with the personalized service of a local Colorado team. Together, Scott and Traci bring nearly 50 years of combined real estate experience, providing our company with experienced leadership and extensive knowledge of real estate, investing, property management, and changing market conditions.
Our team brings experience across residential real estate, multifamily housing, property management, maintenance, bookkeeping, and marketing. Together, we provide owners with a well-rounded approach to managing their investments—from marketing and leasing to resident communication, maintenance coordination, financial reporting, and everything in between.

Scott and Traci O'Connor are the owners and Employing Brokers of RE/MAX Properties and the owners of ProActive Property Management by RE/MAX Properties. Together, they bring nearly 50 years of combined real estate experience and a longstanding commitment to serving clients throughout the Colorado Springs community.
Scott brings more than 22 years of experience in the real estate industry as a broker, owner, investor, and property manager. He is also a military veteran with more than 20 years of combined service as a U.S. Air Force Officer and Civil Servant. Together, Scott and Traci have built extensive experience navigating evolving real estate markets and economic conditions, helping clients successfully buy, sell, manage, and invest in real estate.
For Scott and Traci, clients are always the top priority. Their approach is centered on professional and prompt service, clear communication, strong relationships, and providing clients with the experience and guidance they need to make informed decisions.
As owners of ProActive Property Management, Scott and Traci are committed to providing property owners with experienced local leadership and a team they can trust to care for their investments. Their vision for ProActive is simple: stay ahead of the details, communicate openly, protect clients' investments, and provide an exceptional experience for both owners and residents.
Julie brings experience in multifamily housing and a people-focused approach to her role in property management. She joined the RE/MAX Properties Property Management Division in October 2024, where she works closely with property owners, residents, and the team to help support the day-to-day needs of the properties under management.
Originally from Washington State, Julie made Colorado home to be closer to family. She enjoys meeting new people, building relationships, and being a resource for those around her. Whether assisting an owner, helping a resident, or supporting a member of the team, Julie strives to be approachable, responsive, and willing to help wherever she can.
Outside of work, Julie enjoys spending time with her family and embracing country life at home with her cats. She loves the balance of working with people during the day and coming home to her four-legged crew.

Colleen has been in the property management field since 1989. Her career began in the Bay Area, where she worked for the Housing Authority before joining Palo Alto Housing Corporation, a nonprofit organization in Silicon Valley. During her 30+ years in property management, Colleen managed seven large multifamily communities totaling more than 530 units, including a Mountain View property that provided housing for homeless veterans.
After visiting friends in Colorado Springs in 2021, Colleen decided to make Colorado home. She joined the property management team in early 2023 and has been with the RE/MAX Properties Property Management Division ever since.
Outside of work, Colleen enjoys spending time with her family and her two pups, Buddy and Luna. Her favorite time of year is football season, when you can find her cheering on her San Francisco 49ers!
Sarah brings five years of experience in real estate, along with a background in marketing and more than 15 years in the hospitality industry. Her real estate career began in Texas, where she worked in residential sales before expanding into real estate marketing. She has since managed marketing for multiple real estate brokerages, focusing on social media, branding, property marketing, and client communications.
Originally from Santa Cruz, California, Sarah has also called Texas home before moving to Colorado. She joined the ProActive Property Management team in 2026 and enjoys bringing her real estate experience and creativity to the company’s marketing and growth.
Outside of work, Sarah loves spending time with her husband and daughter, reading, traveling, trying new restaurants, and exploring Colorado’s mountains and hiking trails.
